Vickstrom Engineering Services, Inc (VES) is a full-service Civil Site Development company specializing in urban in-fill projects. We provide full site plans for development projects that involve designing site layouts, stormwater management systems, water and sewer utilities, drainage and site grades, and roadway design to meet Local, State and Federal requirements including ADA compliance, for both public and private clients.
Vickstrom Engineering’s mission is to develop sustainable, resilient communities. VES strives to meet this mission on every project we work on. From modifying a pond design to avoid existing trees, to restoring and rehabilitating existing pavement for parking areas or roadways, to utilizing sustainable materials, our goal is to enhance the built environment through our projects. A large majority of our work is urban in-fill which redevelops areas that have already been impacted.

Daniel Vickstrom, P.E.
Daniel M. Vickstrom, P.E, founded Vickstrom Engineering Services, Inc. in 2013. He has over 41 years of experience in the civil engineering consulting field, with over 31 years of local experience in the Tampa Bay area. His prior Tampa Bay area work include 6 years directing a water resources group for a large international consulting firm, and 15 years as the principal for a civil engineering consulting office in Tampa. Dan is currently a Principal with VES and manages projects throughout the City of St Petersburg, Pinellas County and the surrounding region.Â
Ashley Henzel, P.E.
Ashley Henzel, P.E. has over 15 years of roadway and drainage engineering experience involving design, plans production, traffic control plans, site design and permitting, stormwater management design, cost estimates, and long-range estimates. She has several years of experience in Project Development and Environment (PD&E) studies. Ashley is the owner of VES and current Principal with the firm and serves as Project Manager and project engineer.
